Im going to replace my northstar 951...Simrad or garmin... do either use any of the old antennas or transducers...is it best to start over from scratch...

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on new props for my 442...close to 16 thousand lbs give or take a few hundred..44’ long... with stock trip 502 mpi... it has mercury marine 22 pitch 4 blade...port and center are counter rotation and starboard is normal rotation...im at top of my rev limit at wot when fully loaded...im running around 63-64 gps...would it be best to up the pitch and bring it down 4800 rpm...thanks in advance

the limiters on those are 5,000. You might just have them stretched an inch or so. I would be afraid of doing too much and going over the hump to where the boat is over propped.

Yes wot is 5000, and I was wondering if I would be better off to go from 22p to a 24p to bring the rpm down to 4800.... because on smooth clean water I can hit the limiter easily... I boat in rivers and smaller lakes... KY lake is the biggest water I'm in

I run Mercury Revolution 4's 23 pitch that were labbed. Port and Center Left hand rotation and Starboard Right.

Replace the antennna's when you upgrade GPS

Colors and design look great!

Kr1276, Is your speed and rpms close to mine... and i don’t have a brand or part number for the rear swim ladder on the back...it’s missing the cover... next time you are around yours and would you look and see if there is anything that I can use to find one or measurements please and thank you for the help

You might be able to go one size bigger or get those props tweeked a little. I would say that the 22s slipping a little and hitting the Rev limiters easily is not ideal in calm conditions. However, you don't want them to bite to much, it will keep the drives alive on that large heavy machine. Great looking boat and enjoy it.
