Is outside of drive white and chalky like it’s been hot? May be unrelated, but I had a no start/no crank issue on a 6.7 Cummins and it was due to a locked up alternator. Check your accessories on front. (Cummins had serpentine belt which gave it more bite, and obviously not in a boat) |
When it doesnt start does the starter click, does it act like it wants to turn the engine over but is unable to. Or is there no response at all. Could it be an electrical issue when things are hot. What happens if you were to start it on muffs with the hatch open and a fan blowing on the engine?

Does your engine have the VST tank? Yes it has the vst tank with a new fuel pump with approximately 15 hrs on it. I don't think a vst tank would stop the engine from trying to turn over. Even if I took the vst pump out it should turn the engine over. |
Also I might have forgot to mention when it shutdown I took all the belts off the from if the engine to rule out any front end parts causing it to lock down.
