Re Jackplate Offshore boat
I am looking at the possibility of installing a jack plate on a 39 Invincible with triple 350 verados. Is this feasible? Will they hold up to the offshore snotty conditions when i am running 100 miles plus each way. If so what brand is the best to get? And what kind of performance gains will i see?
Thanks |
Look into Bobs machine triple jack |
Ok will do. Thanks

The absolute best jackplate on the market is from Porta Products. Unlike other designs, they have ZERO play, even at the highest settings. And they never jam or get stuck.

They look very needy just worried about how far back they sit on the transom. Also would it be separate plates or just one for all 3?
|
I know twins can share one plate, not sure on trips though. They also come in various lengths of setback. Can't hurt to call and talk to Scott Porta about your rig.

Will give a call over to porta and bobs and see how they match up.

I know it's not offshore but the Porta bracket on this 450 looks great. See post #24 https://www.screamandfly.com/showthr...or-today/page2 Here it is at 120 mph. https://www.screamandfly.com/showthr...-a-single-450R |
