Compass Help

This was discussed years ago, I searched and most info was 10 plus years. Can anyone direct me to a reasonable place to have compass refilled and repaired. I have included a picture. I redid my dash in the Playboy Cigarette 2 years ago, but never did much with the compass. It is original and has zero fluid in it. I would like to send it out for repair. I assume its much cheaper then replacement.

Thanks in advance.!!!

Please give me some options. Thank you and happy holidays

I had a compass stat leaking on a boat years ago. Contacted the manufacture of the compass and they had me send it in. It was rebuilt with a new dome , gasket and fluid. cost about 1/3 of a new one.

I'm drawing a blank on the name right now but weren't most of these compasses made by one company that was really well known like the way Danforth= anchors. I want to say Richie but that doesn't seem right, I think there is someone else as well. Anyway that's where I'd start.

That compass is a C-Plath and the company is located in Germany. There are places in the USA that repair them. I've researched it and a richie compass that will fit your dash and will be around 300 bucks. You can get compass fluid at west marine and fill it yourself. It may take a while for it to leak out.

Thanks for the info, I seem to remember a company here on the east coast that repaired all brands of compasses. I just can't seem to find name. I will continue to look.
