out drive swap,bravo 2 to 3 ???
 

I have a 93 sea ray 290 sundancer just repowered a 7.4L ,anyway the out drive is a 96 bravo 2 and the skeg is destroyed,my ? is can I swap out the lower unit with a bravo 3 with out changing the upper unit ? Also can I redirect the suction side of the cooling pump from the out drive to a thru-hull supply ? THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP

Yes and Yes. Although making sure you're getting enough water in a thru hull pick up could be difficult to determine. Might be able to find someone with the same BIII on that boat to find out what props it needs????

Bravo 3 pumps the same amount of water flow as Bravo 1 and 2
