Edelbrock heads
 

Looking at the victor jr big block heads from Edelbrock. They come with the 2.3 intake and 1.9 exhaust valves. I’m running old school 496 with 4.310 bore and I’m wandering if the valves are to big? I’m thinking they probably are and will need some grinding to clear deck. Probably better suited for a bigger engine but price is good on them.

I ran a set of Darts with 2.30 intakes on a standard bore 454. No issues though I’m sure it wasn’t optimal. The engine was supercharged so probably not a big issue for us.
