Trim Gauge with the Imco HD Gimbal

I'm going to install the IMCO transom assembly in the up coming months. I have a standard bravo electrical trim gauge. Is there a way to use my current gauge or do I have to install a mechanical one. My dash space is limited so would like to use my current gauge is possible.
