Offshoreonly.com - 496HO Can’t fine Data Link Connector

I have a 2002 Sunsation Dominator w/ twin 496HOs. I am installing a Vessel View 903. The boat has the Smartcraft Logos and the Engine covers and drives. I know I’m looking for the DLC normally capped w/ a red or yellow plug. I’ve been all over the motors and can’t find it. I found the flat 4-pin. I did find a pigtail coming off back of motor. It’s a 10-pin to a pigtail with another 10-pin with a Termination Resistor at the end. I tried plugging it in there and it powers the Vessel View but it can’t communicate with the motors. Is that the correct connection and there is another issue or do I need to keep looking for the DLC. I can’t post pics yet or I would.
