Gill exhaust manifold and pipes.
Any suggestions would help...I currently have the crusader manifolds and straight dry pipes which work and sound good but I have to use balls in the pipes if water gets in...well you know what can happen.
So I picked up a set of gil but the angle is way to great and I wouldn't be able to close the hatch (not acceptable) But by cutting and re welding the plate up the elbow about 2 or 3 inches will fit under and give it the rite angle.. or what's you're thoughts??? possibly trade pipes? https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...54ac15eb2a.jpg |
So your saying that you only have 6" above the manifold to tail mounting flange? I think if you shorten the height of the riser by 2-3 inches, you will basically have a right angle going into the tailpipe???

I took off the big block of steel put on the Gil manifold and its starting to look like it will end up fitting almost perfect Still have to widen the holes out I think it will work.
