Bravo xr -2" cavitation plate

Does anyone run without the add on cav plate? I have a set of 15 5/8 maximus props I want to try but there isn't enough clearance.

They will fit. Use the imco style plate on top instead of below the upper. My boat is setup like this now.

I tried running without the cav plate on my 25 outlaw once. She’d blow out every time trying to plane. They’re there for a reason.
