2013 verado 300hp boost control valve fault

I'm getting a vessel view error code "Check Boost Valve - Boost bypass valve not functioning properly". Then the rpm is limited to 3200. Assume this is something that happens on all verados. Has anyone had this fault, and what was done to fix it. Thanks
