Hard Storage for the engine compartment
I have a single engine boat and just removed 2 ginormous sub's out of the engine compartment. I'm looking for durable hard storage containers for my tools, spare parts and cleaners. Checked a few sites and can't find anything. I need something that is extremely durable, I have been known to run in extremely rough water. I need something that can be bolted down with a cover that can be secured. I knew if anyone would have some good ideas they would be on here.

I had a local shop bend up some 1/8” diamond plate aluminum into boxes for my bilge. Works like a charm.
You can’t really see the port side but those are the ones that hold the tools and spare parts. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...69b71969a.jpeg |

I bolted down the “rigid” case from Home Depot. Water resistant and very strong

Here's what I ended up with, worked perfect. I used rubber grommets for the screws holding them down so they are sealed and weather strip around the inside lip so they are water tight.
