Hard Storage for the engine compartment

I have a single engine boat and just removed 2 ginormous sub's out of the engine compartment. I'm looking for durable hard storage containers for my tools, spare parts and cleaners. Checked a few sites and can't find anything. I need something that is extremely durable, I have been known to run in extremely rough water. I need something that can be bolted down with a cover that can be secured. I knew if anyone would have some good ideas they would be on here.

I had a local shop bend up some 1/8” diamond plate aluminum into boxes for my bilge. Works like a charm.

You can’t really see the port side but those are the ones that hold the tools and spare parts.

I was hoping for something commercially available. I have some white storage bins that are fairly sturdy but that would look pretty hokey.

I bolted down the “rigid” case from Home Depot. Water resistant and very strong

I took your idea and did a search online and found something that will fit that is a copy of your idea. I’m going to check out the Rigid Tool box as well.

Here's what I ended up with, worked perfect. I used rubber grommets for the screws holding them down so they are sealed and weather strip around the inside lip so they are water tight.

I looked at those, but I needed something larger and I wanted it to be metal. I keep spare octane booster and oil in there so I wanted it to be fire proof. I keep a pretty complete tool set with enough spare parts to solve most issues. I boat out in the middle of nowhere and if I get stranded I may be out of VHF and Cell range and there may not be another boat coming by until next spring. There's more boat traffic in the middle of the Atlantic then where I boat.
