Fel-Pro gasket set 427 7.0L
 

Im trying to find a complete felpro gasket kit with a .039 head gasket in it, anyone have a PN #

No part number handy, but a 427 uses the same as a 454. Same bore, different stroke.

A break in the day so I looked at Fel Pro's site and it looks like you'll need to piece it together. Their high performance sets offer a 1075 gasket with the thickness being .041.

The 1027 is the correct thickness @ 60 bucks a piece

Edit: the 1037 is .039 and 45 bucks @ CNC Motor sports

Summit has them for $50 each. But I think you were asking for a full engine set, right?

found that the 260-1009 kit has the .039 head gaskets, thanks for the reply's.....:drink:

Dont know if it matters in your case but the 260 kits will not have a marine grade head gasket. If you have closed cooling with antifreeze then it will be fine.

This is a 427 going in a 69 Vette......no propellers ......:D

How is the car coming along and where are you purchasing most of your C3 specific parts from?? When you first picked up the car, you had a thread about where to buy from.... just curious as to what/where you found as there might be a C2 back in the bay before too long here

Ive ordered a couple thing from Paragon ( not really impressed ) the after market stuff just isn't as good as OE, Ive picked up a few OE parts from a local guy he's been into vetts for 25 yrs, just starting the engine build, Im going to get it running and driving and probably sell it to someone else who wants to take it to the next level.
