Where do you see rust?

On the top, above the pistons (not on the pistons and not on the cylinder wall), at the bottom of the headers I think.
Next to the valves.

Some of the exhaust valves are a bit rusty to.

To see if there is a cracked boot/wire it needs to be dark to check?

Is it these plugs from this site? The 41-983 is the plugs that I have.

Yes, I think the CMI caused this.

I will test that

Dark will help to visually see an electrical arc. It will be seen and heard if arcing no matter lighting. Yes, 41-983. Rockauto correct site.

Compression test those cylinders. Hopefully your valve faces and seats are not corroded.

Okey thank you.
Im going too do a compression test.
Take the injectors off and clean them.
Cant get the cool fuel module out and clean it without lifting the engine out though. The plastic box surrounding it is almost impossible to get off without lifting the engine.

Maybe the cool fuel module and the injectors have dirt/paint from the fuel in it. Like this guy

AllDodge 12-29-2020 08:05 AM

The module can be a beotch to get out
Might have paint, but I would check the injectors before pulling the module (but just me)

Yes I think its a hard time to get it out without lifting the engine.

But I just did a compression test, and this is the results I got:

#8 - 130 psi
#7 - 100 psi
#6 - 80 psi
#5 - 70 psi
#4 - about 145 psi
#3 - about 142 psi
#2 - 150 psi
#1 - about 129 psi

That's some bad numbers
Need a leak down test to see if its valves or rings

Could squirt a bit of oil in the weak cylinders and do it again to see if it helps

I did a leak down test last year with good results. But last year isnt now and the conditon of the engine could have changed.

It could be the valves. I think I mentioned earlier that the exhaust valve on #5 didnt close all the way

Edit: I think that I missed to tell that one valve didnt close as it should. (#5 cylinder, exhaust valve). The two valves was open at the same time. And the exhaust valve was still open when I turned the engine around. After some turns it started to close, but didnt close all the way

I started to take some parts of today. Starting with the EMI exhausts.
Water inside those too.. like the CMI’s.
I dont get it were the water is coming from...
It only has to come from leaking exhausts or reversion. Or could it be condensation?

The exhausts looks fine to me, the guy that I bought it from said it only had 20h on them and they are in good condition. I havent done a pressuretest on them so I am not 100% sure their not leaking, but whats the odds. So tired of this!

See if I can do a pressure test on them one day. Dont know really how to do it though.

After the exhausts I took the valve covers away.
Just checked the rockers and valves like the guy do in this video.

The rocker on #5 cylinder, the exhaustvalve rocker was a little bit loose.
And the rocker arm? that goes down to the cam where bent..

The pushrod was bent ? Whoaah
