How to delete the trim sender wiring thru a Bravo transom assembly & seal the hole?
I am rebuilding my Bravo transom assemblies and I have them all apart for paint. I have mechanical trim indicator cables on my boat but the transom assemblies have the standard indicator wiring in place. Is there a way to remove the wiring and seal the hole that would be left by removing the wiring/rubber plug that’s in there now? Thanks

There might be a plug but it would be easy to just cut the wires and leave the original plug. I would leave maybe an inch on the outside

if everything is off the boat, have the hole welded up.

Thanks for the reply. I have one assembled already so that would cause some extra work but it’s definitely a good idea. |
