Exhaust tip quality

Looking at the Corsa 11000 tips and the Hardin Marine 4” angled tips to put on my 270 Laser twin before spring, question is, is one finish better than the other? Will the corsas have a better finish and be easier to keep polished? Price difference for 4 is about $250, would rather put that towards finishing my steering if someone has some input on the finish of the hardins. Thanks!

I can get you a great deal on IMCO tips. IMO they are every bit as good as Corsa or Hardin. As far as keeping them clean, any of them are going to take some time and effort to keep in perfect shape. I don't think any will be better than the other in that regard.

If you don't have my number message me, other wise give me a call.

endeavour32 helped me out with a set of Imco’s, very nice quality and great price, thanks again!

Teague has a much lower price on exhaust tips than any other brand that I've seen

Tip Quality

Before making a decision, check out Stainless Marine in Florida for their tip options. I had a request for some new tips that Stainless would make changes to their process to meet my needs. Very good to work with even though the Cong flu was raging. Worth a look.

I have Stainless Marine tips on my boat, I don't think they are any better than the IMCO's except they use a stainless vs rubber internal flapper. The stainless internal flapper is nicer IMO but the cost of the SM is 3x that of IMCOs. The Teague tips are a good price but there they do not include an internal flapper, nor does Teague offer that, at least not without something custom being made.

I did not know that about the Teague's. I had Corsa tips on a boat and they also had SS internal flaps. The flappers used a counterweight and made a lot of racket at idle but quality was very good.
