Are outboards taking all the news now... Is this old news? I didnt realize Mercury Racing came out with a 1750!

I'd never seen it. Consider me Lloyd Christmas.....

....considering most of the posted builds with big power are dual calibration (1350/1550 and the 1100/1350's) was in keeping with the end of unlimited class racing (Merc 1850), there has been no noise of these engines going into a build that I can recall.

These motors are race motors only, not a consumer motor. That’s probably why you hadn’t heard much of them. I know a couple of the unlimited race teams were running them, an alternative to turbines.
