Default Anyone running shaffiroff racing marine engines?

They are out of new York and are huge in the big block drag racing and street scene. I called and they do offer a marine 588 14/71 engine but I can't find any guys running their marine engines. Do you know of anyone running these and what's their experience with them?

I have no direct experience with them however they have very very few complaints and mostly good positive feedback. I would lean towards a 540 SC with a 10-71. Just a personal preference and could still achieve the same power.

If you want to use someone in NY that only does boats you could call Saris.

Also go for a whipple if you can swing it, they work a lot better than roots blowers.

PSI's make great power but they take a ton of power to spin too. A whipple will make the same power more efficiently and with less stress on the engine.

They aren’t made anymore. The 5/8.3 whipple can take you to 1500, maybe 1700 totally maxed out on good fuel. The PSI can go beyond that.

The 4.5L whipple should be good to 1200 maybe 1300.
