What Kind of car is this?

I know this is a boating forum but it's freezing here in Michigan and a friend and I are trying to identify this car. Anyone know? Thanks!

200 +++ mph

thirdchildhood 04-21-2021 04:05 PM

OMG it IS a bugatti. Wow, thanks!

We know that guy! That's a $2 million + car. Wow!!!!!

speicher lane 04-21-2021 04:40 PM

Don't offer to change out the tires or pay for the oil change for driving the Veyron... you thought boating was bad for expense - THAT car is in it's own league

At WOT, it burns thru a full tank of fuel in 12 mins.

How many cars start up and idle in 110% BEAST mode....

Eddienel 04-21-2021 08:38 PM

I almost bought one but it didn't get very good fuel mileage.:D

I am thinking that 12 mins at WOT you will have more problems than fuel mileage.

I saw a show where they changed the oil , if I recall it took a few days and cost 20K

EDIT: .. 27 hrs and $21k OMG lol
I`ll take 2

zz28zz 04-22-2021 02:14 AM

Here's one for sale.. *cheap*. Just needs a little elbow grease..:evilb:

Here's the history after the crash. Interesting story.

thirdchildhood 04-22-2021 07:36 AM

I read some of the maintenance costs. It adds up to about $300,000 annual operating expense not including fuel. Definitely a car for the elite upper tier!

Bugatti tech's have to disassemble the car and most of the engine as there is no drain plug... but they do inspect the internals to tolerance so if your bill is only the $21K - the car is a keeper.

Tom Brady and Danica Patrick are two of the upper class to own them. Beautiful car but to rich for my blood. Between the boat and that car I would need a tanker load of fuel every week.

An F-14A Tomcat with full internal fuel, 16000 lb, will be out of fuel in 8 minutes at wide open throttle... zone 5 afterburner.

zz28zz 04-22-2021 02:40 PM

Deleted confusing reply.

that's a helluva 7m30 ride... and how many states can they cover in that time?

I'm guessing you would overtemp the engines before you ran out of fuel but you'd also be going twice the speed of sound

TomZ 04-23-2021 08:18 AM

My Hellcat will drain its tank in 12 minutes at WOT... :party-smiley-004:

outonsafari 04-23-2021 11:39 AM

F14, Bugatti, Ferrari, Girlfriend it's all about the same consumtion and maintenance

TomZ 04-23-2021 11:40 AM

That just has to be one of the best legal scams ever! Buy a 2 million plus dollar car than charge 21K for a oil change! Love it.

Pretty sure Mercury has the same business plan, especially over 1100's...
