Just for S&G's, check the wiring going to the fuel pump. My starboard engine was doing that and I found out the previous owner rigged a splice for the positive wire that would come loose and then settle into place when I got on plane. IF he were present when I found it, I'd have had to kick him in his junk and then send him on a one way bus trip to Detroit. :mad:

what did Detroit do to deserve a sh!tbag like that. He must be the guy who scotch locked a ground on my 502 mpi fuel pump harness.

Update
 
Unhooked the shift interrupt switch and jumpered the harness side with a wire. Boat runs like a top but I’d obviously difficult to shift with the interrupter disabled. Ordering a switch in the morning
