Leaking exhaust on 496HOs 2005 370SS

Hello,
I recently noticed a small amount of water in my port and starboard bilge after a good run. Upon a closer look, I noticed water leaking out of one of the rubber boots. Went through all the clamps and was able to get a couple turns on without really cranking on them. I assume they have never been retightened. Anything else I should do to keep those leaks under control?

Had the same thing happen . Drove me crazy, kept thinking it was water from getting in/out of Lake. Decided to chase it down and one of my clamps was on crooked. Loosened it up, straightened it out and re-installed. Problem gone. Checked all others and a couple where not snugged up. Engines had been out out for couplers a couple years prior.

Does yours have the drain valves(air bleed system) ? These can leak at higher pressure. I never had a problem with mine on a 2002. Others reported water in the bilge after a spirited run.

Thank you. I’ll recheck to make sure the clamps are square. Not sure I have an air bleed system but will check.
