Mercruiser 7.4 serial numbers?
Is there place where i could find out the year model with the serial number? B947354. All i can find is that it is 1988-1991, 7.4l

thanks alot! Can you see where it is registered the first time? The engine is now in europe. One site claims it is 7.4 magnum 365hp.

Pull your valve covers and oil pan, those era/model mercury engines have 4 bolt main, forged rotating assemblies, 990 or 188 rectangle port heads, or they don't and it's just a base model engine.
