I learned that today.. Some have a nurled end that fits into the rocker. no good . So I found a set of stainless rockers from Jegs, No nurled ends and I spoke to cs and they said I can use any poly lock that is flat. Also now they make spacers that you can raise the valve cover for clearance issues.. if that doesn't work I will have to buy the ones from hardin-marine, they have a large slanted side by the exhaust manifold... another $550...That noise better go away
Was a good price.. Jegs makes them...all others were over 400...
thanks

2 sets on each engine burned up. I contacted Compcams and they told me if you're using a high volume oil pump you cannot use these rockers. If you look at the oil hole on your rockers it's pointing straight up if you look at the oil hole on a regular stamp steel rocker it's pointing to the stud . the reason was with my engine it was shooting over the rocker. And I believe I have Spring pressures opening over 350

Don’t listen to them. They burn up with stock low volume pumps in sbc’s also.

Damn, dude...that IS crazy!
You are on a quest, for sure....good luck and keep us posted! This is one of the strangest things I've ever heard of in many, many years of boating and running high-performance cars...
