Driven is a great product.
But what, particularly, are you asking?
If you are looking for a great break-in pil for a flat-tappet motor, then this is the bomb.
Brad Penn used to be my go-to but evrr since they went mainstream,, their formulations got weird and I can't trust what I'm getting..
But outside of a break-in oil, there are plenty of entirely adequate motor oils for marine usage.

Tell us your engine specs, your usage patterns, and your endgame and it will be helpful to steer you to a suitable oil.

Just remember, Walmart sells Quicksilver 25W-40 synthetic blend for $29/gallon.
Is your build outside of the parameters of this proven marine oil?

Ran the marine/hotrod stuff, which apparently the same, in the whippled 525 in my old Baja. That was when I researched oils to ad nauseam. high zinc levels. My now whippled 525s in my donzi I said screw it keep it simple and I run mercs 25w-40 which previous owner did. Being able to get the oil locally or in a couple days is a benefit to me.

Thats good to know. Can be confusing determining what oil to use. (So many choices). Not like the old days when I just got valvoline or Napa for everything. I like the idea of quicksilver. Who’s oil do they use.

Oil

I’ve almost finished my break in. Rebuild 496 HO, forged internals, Raylar BP205 cam, roller rockers, Whipple. Driven looked over the build sheet clearances and I could PM them to any interested in getting in the weeds. I was running Quicksilver 20W-50 prior to rebuild and adding Whipple.

Just post your clearances, oil pump and cooler size. Oil t-stats?
