I used 5 gallons of Gell, two gallons of Durratech, and MEKP hardeners.

Jon, did you spray it or have someone else do it. I found a place called Fiber Glast, cute huh. That sell all the materials, and a gun that will spray the gel pre- catayized not mixed in the gun. It was actually pretty reasonable in price too. How much gel and duratech did you use. Really it sounds better than painting.

Duh, I should have looked up 1.

I had a guy come over and spray it for me. He brought a 8000 dollar gun with him. If you can find my paint project string you will see a picture of it. It mixed the catalist in front of the gun so it was great as you did not have to rush to get the stuff out fo the gun before it hardened. The Durratech said to mix One to One with the Gell, but my guy said that is WAY to much. He mixes with about 1-4. I know about Fiberglast and they seemed to be good. Composits one is also excelent and you can see if there is one in your area. Good luck and if I can help out any way just PM me.

For what it is worth, I had both sides on my 28' Magnum re-gelled for $ 800.00 this included materials, and labor to have it buffed out. I'm very happy with the way its turned out.
What is the purpose of adding Duratec to the gel? |
what's the name of the guy in TR?
