Donzi 21 hornet trim tab placement.

I have read most of the threads i get when I search on the forums, and I know it is a divided topic.

I am switching my bennet tabs for 520mm/20" tabs.

At WOT I do not run any tab, I ONLY use tabs for side listing at cruise, or to get the bow down in rough seas.

My main issue, hence why I want bigger tabs.. is that i want to extend the running surface in rougher seas and also to get the bow down in rough seas. When it gets real choppy and I run my bennets way down, I can feel the boat getting real sucked in, and engineload goes way up.

I boat mostly on a lake where the waves are irratical and tight/choppy, with the occasional missing wave and you take a digger.. I'm guessing a little longer running surface should help just a bit thru the chop.

So when it comes down to it, parallel or horizontal?

Since im going BIG I'm thinking horizontal.

Boat is a straight bottom donzi 21 hornet III. Merc xr -2 and a 7.4 mpi that's getting switched for more power later, 50 knots before hull blueprinting this winter and I'm shooting for 70 with new engine.

Please, let's have a discussion and I'll give my reviews when summer gets here :)
