Short deck intake on tall deck engines?
 

Friend throwing some power together, we were talking about the adaptor kits that let you run the short deck intakes on the tall decks, anyone have any experience? They are supercharged, not sure if they are a complete pain to use the adaptors but at under a couple hundred vs 900 bucks an engine for new intake manifolds it’s a decent money difference.

I’d venture to say do it right but blown app I don’t think you’d see much diff.

they can work,,may need to blend them to the intake.then use good sealant around intake ports,ford diesel rtv will hold them tight.

I might have 2 sets laying around somewhere.

I did pair blower motors in 2004 for a cigarette had those plates on it, the salt water eats those plates for some reason in a short amount of time maybe two years and they have to be replaced.
