A slight sidetrack, but related kinda.....
to the OP.....did you get a different boat or are you thinking of putting this in your current boat ? If current boat, have you thought it all through ?

It sure is! Cant find any decent boats in my area that is clean. I am hoping to get 80 mph out of her. i am getting this engine for 15k CAD so its a steal

I did look around to try and find information on limits of a fiberglass haul. I cant seem to find any good post or write ups. The haul has been checked well and is solid(no excessive moisture). I am all open ears for learning about what others have to say about this idea.

Well the original Post itself was about the manifolds. But if you are wondering what the whole setup will look like. I will be getting a Bravo XR to start and see how that is. If i need a shorty to raise the X dimension then that will be afterwards. I will also be getting a Hydraulic assist arm as well for stability. Drive shower to help the XR live. I dont plan to floor it out of the hole as all this power to any drive in one shot will hurt things.
As for the transom itself. It seems to have ALOT of support from the base of the haul to the transom. I would actually like to hear more on this from you guys since you say its a concern. My take is its a 23Ft boat, its light and will be pushed out of the water pretty easy. if it was a heavy boat then my thoughts would be different. I dont understand why guys can run procharger kits on their boats without issues and the diablo is being laughed at here lol. Maybe you guys have a different though on this. Lets hear it !

Can you post a pic of your engine compartment w/o power. You might consider glassing in some addition mini cross stringers etc or even X shape etc. Anything you do will help improve strength etc. Just measure for clearances before hand.
It’s kinda like putting a flathead harley engine in a mini bike. Hang out on TikTok while waiting at a doc appt and you’ve seen it all. 😂. Well far from all but you get it.
BTW If you feel confident and it’s what you want to do go for it. Just to bad you can’t find an old 24’ challenger hull. You’d be well over a 100 in that and stable. They had a nice slippery bottom for their time.

Since your manifold situation is pretty much handled thought I’d post. Run 69 w 365 mag and just shy of 80 w 500hp. These are still nice looking and fast hull. I had a 89 with a few different engine combos and was a blast. Could probably find one minus engine for 5k. Can’t believe the one above is still a “one” owner. Very cool.
