Manifolds for a 900-1000hp Build

Hey guys,

I have a lead on a 597cu. whipple supercharged, 900-1000hp build. It is missing manifolds and I am curious if regular Stainless marine manifold would support enough flow for this HP range. I found a set of Stainless marines for 750$usd. I also have 02 bung adapters i made for these manifolds i kept from another build(Which is why i would like to use these). just a concern on flow of the actual manifold it self.

I also have a lead on the SM Gen3's but they are 2000$. and I would have a hard time making 02 bungs for these.

I also have a lead on dana Flow torque manifolds but they are missing risers. I called dana marine and they are backed up for orders right now and wont be able to supply risers for 5-6 months. they also confirmed their manifolds on builds up to 1800Hp. I found these used for 450USD manifolds(pair) only. If anyone has risers for the dana series. Please let me know.

Looking for opinions on my options above. Greatly appreciated.

Steph

I would look into the IMCO powerflow plus. Plenty of them running around supporting that level of power.

Stainless marine told me their normal manifolds are good to 700 ish hp.

Is this build going in your 230 thundercraft diablo. Please tell me it’s going in a 26’ cat or something fun. You know the old saying (like putting perfume on a pig). 😂. Just playin but curious also. Either way sounds like a good time. Brah!!!

I had SM gen 3's on a 900+hp engine and they worked fine. I put O2 bungs in the tails without problem

A slight sidetrack, but related kinda.....

to the OP.....did you get a different boat or are you thinking of putting this in your current boat ? If current boat, have you thought it all through ? :(

😂. If current I wanna follow along on the shoreline with a case of beer and watch. Heck I’m down with whatever. Just wanna see somebody Suckin Gas and Haulin Azz. (Before the stern passes the bow) 💪🏽
