502 Mag MPI Vortec Heads Swap?
 

We pulled apart the 502 on our 2000 model year boat due to overheating. The heads will need to be serviced, but I found a local racer who is selling a complete set of low-hours L29 Vortec "Fast Burn", 829 casting heads that are ready to run. Would these work well with my soon-to-be rebuilt bottom end? My objective is to get the boat back on the water soon and as economically as practical. If these heads offer better performance, that would be a plus, but was hoping people with more knowledge and experience could help me avoid potential issues. Thanks!
