Default Best oil for 454 mag mpi in Arizona heat!!

Sorry this has probably been posted somewhere but I can't see the figure out this forum as I'm new to it. But looking for the best oil for my 454 magnum MPI motors That deals with 100゚ temperatures

Popular choices include Mobil 1 15W-50 or Valvoline Vr1 20W-50.

Btw: if gen v with flat tappet id give the nod to the vr1.

mobil 1 is not a great oil. Great advertising though. project farm did a test on oils. look it up.
I use 20w50 penzoil or valvoline best price in walmart. wix AC delco and K&N filters are good. phram not so good(cut one open)

.....And we're off!

Still waiting on proof of documented engine failure from using ANY brand of oil in the correct viscosity for the application, and appropriate filtration and change intervals

Did you recently, know Some Fram filters have been restructured and very good.

Did you know that Wix had been bought out recently and some of the filters are not what they used too ?

The oil and oil filter industry has, many times changed overnight. Good to check in on it yearly.
