Thanks for all the help gents. The cable was marked just where you said and the SB side was indeed 2' shorter than the Port side. Ordered them today. Thanks again.

You put the end of the cable with the markings (length) by the throttle, shifters or indicators so you know where to hook it up. You can easily see length differences in the bilge. Under the dash not so much...
