What NordicHeat said:p , But I run a 120° all the time, and I have a couple small holes in the stat to bleed out any air before the stat opens. When My stat opens, it dumps directly overboard thru two (2) 3/4" dumps. I feed my exhaust manifolds from the cross over using the mercruiser brass "T" with the plastic balls. I also have a pressure release valve installed in the cross over for over pressure and water spikes. I see an average of 22 - 25 psi of water pressure at WOT. I must have close to 200 hrs that way with no problems.:D :D Knock Knock Knock

Here is a pick of my Procharger cross over tube with the merc brass "T". The "T" feeds my Gil Manifolds.

This picture shows where I put the PFM pressure release valve that also dumps over board. It's an old picture, But the release valve is where the plug is in this picture.:p

Kirk/Pantera 24. Yes it is a Chain O Lakes boat. Its a 25 Daytona with lightning bolt graphics on it. I don't think I know your boat , whats it look like? I know of one Pantera, white and teal with a built small block that runs out of Kramers/Arrow Marine.

a friend has a pair of 98'
procharged 502 mpi's, that had the
3 holes drilled in the thermostat,
constantly complaining of the
appearance of being "diesel powered"
(excessive smoke)when idling.
i replaced the thermostat housings
supplied with the procharger setup
with rex marine thermostat housings
with built in bypass valve, 143* thermostats.
had to replace the 90* fitting at
sea water inlet/ crossover with a tee
fitting, ran a hose from this tee to
bypass port on t/stat housing,
also relocated ecm temp sender
to block, (into the unused circulation pump
bypass port) they had temp gage sender
in this location.
this put the sender "below" the thermostat.
i did this back in 99' , the have 200+
hours on them, (knock on wood) and
still running fine,
and the best part, no more "diesel" ???????
