496 Fuel Rail Fuel Line
 

Hoping for a little help/advice... I have a 496 base model (OM650186)... I just replaced the booster pump and fuel cooler and now have a leak in the fuel line where it connects to the rail. Searched the Mercury PN (8623591) and everything says discontinued and I don't see a replacement PN anywhere. I've read that braided fuel lines are a big Coast Guard no no... I can make up a fuel line with compression fittings no problem... is that not advisable?

Anybody know of a replacement PN?
