CMI E-Top tails question
 

Wondering how far back the water mixes with the gasses on standard CMI E-Top tailpipes. I am looking to ditch my captains call and want to know if the standard tails will actually buy me any additional protection against reversion.. or is it just a waste of money?

Here's my current situation.

Our old cmi e-top tails had the water enter the exhaust fairly close to the end. See attached picture

CMI Fusion exhaust exits 4" from the very end of the pipe.

Thanks, but I'm looking for info on Standard CMI Tailpipes for the e-top headers.

Any idea how far from the tip that is? I just tested my captains call tailpipes, and the water mixes 5" from the tip.If the standard tailpipes mix 4" from the tip... I don't see how that would decrease the risk of reversion much, if any. Can anyone explain why the standard tailpipes are supposed to be better for reduced risk of reversion?

if your talking only 4-5" from the tip just go all the way to the tip and be dry
