Gen 6 Oil Pressure sender location

I have a Gen 6 BBC. Is this location above the oil filter head a good spot for a oil pressure sender? It was located originally below the distributor but I have a new ignition bracket that will interfere with the the sender extension. I've seen Gen 5 engines with the senders located here but just want to make sure I'm good. Thanks!

Yes that's fine, and can also use a Tee if gauge sender needs to be installed

Pressure senders are less picky than temperature senders. That location works fine for pressure or temperature, but the spot near the distributor is really only good for pressure.
