EMI Thunder SBC runner size
 

Looking to get some EMI Thunders for a SBC 383 build.

Trying to locate info on the runner size and length to the merg collector.

Has anyone successfully cooled them with their closed cooling system? The 280 TRS 350 I currently has the old Merc manifolds cooled by the heat exchanger.

Not optimal, but better for the EMIs for sure.

Engine Bay Temps will likely be raised...any other potential pitfalls?

Will the heat exchanger have a thermal run away issue if the engine is pushed hard?

Can that be solved with some better raw water flow?
