Fuel treatment brands

Seafoam vs Lucas vs other brands to keep carbon buildup down? Anybody used these long term and saw if they worked?
The Lucas and Seafoam are avail in gallons in auto stores so its a lot cheaper that way when your buying a lot of gas.

Use Techron Marine.

It contains lots of PEA as well fuel stabilizer at a good price.

Can you get it in a gallon? What store brand carries it.
I've used the techron in the smaller bottles for cars for decades. You get what you pay for. I know its got stronger/more solvents than the cheaper bottom end "gas treatments" .

Techron Marine

It comes in several sizes including 1 gallon.

I buy multi-packs of the small bottles on eBay.

If you Google for Techron Marine, you will find the Chevron website which includes a store locator.

Techron Marine

Btw, you can use it in your car, too.

From what I remember, it is stronger than the regular Techron product for cars.

Look at the VP products. Wide range for gas and diesel. Only thing I ever ran in gas engines that truly made a noticeable difference. Haven't tried the diesel products yet.

I guess it depends on what you are after

Based on the MSD for "VP 7 in 1 Fuel Treatment", it contains some solvents, but no PEA.

I.e. it is the rough equivalent of Sea Foam, STP and the cheapest products they have at Walmart. It is not a Quikleen (or whatever Mercury calls it) replacement.

It won't hurt, but it will not do much.
