Nxt water pick up

Hey guys,

I bought a donzi 38zr with 700s and nxts.

the boat needed work so I bought is as a project boat.

I’m in the process of putting everything together but can’t seem to find where the water pick up are on the nxt?

furthermore, the boat has two holes with ball valves between the drives on the bottom. It doesn’t seem like thru hull cooling and I can’t get through to donzi to enquiry if they are or not thru hull.

I have attached some photos and would appreciate any help on this

The water pickup is at the back of the bullet on the lower unit right in front of the prop. Those valves and thru hulls are to allow air into the step while planing, releasing any potential vacuum. Hoses should run from those valves up to thru hulls at each rear corner of the boat.
