Steering

I currently have a full hydraulic single ram Zeiger steering setup. Has anyone gone from single to dual and if so , was there an improvement ?
I am running in the high 80s in a 22 deep v. Over 85 and I am chine walking a bit too much. Running a Labbed Bravo 1 prop.

Can you move your drive back and forth at all? I have twins so the set up is different but when I try and move the drives by hand they don't budge at all. If yours is the same I don't see adding another ram as your solution. I've been told to check for a "hook" in the last 4-5' of the bottom. It could be 85 in a 22' foot boat is the limit :D

No , it’s nice and tight. I’ll get it figured out

At 85mph, I would add a second ram. Not saying it will help with your chine walk issue though.

I may do that. Living in south Florida , it is so damn hot in the summer I usually lay the boat up like it’s winter and do projects . I did see a Bertram 20 at the classic boat show over the weekend and might go another direction ! A Bimini top might be nice 👍🏼
