Automatic Fire Extinguisher
 

Specing out a automatic fire extinguisher for my engine bay, cockpit will also have a 2.5lbs fire extinguisher but wanted something automatic in the engine bay to make sure a fire is taken care ASAP. Questions comes in about engine bay temperature, single engine baja outlaw. I generally would just size up in this case thinking overkill is better with a fire but when moving up in size also lowers the trigger temperature 75qft will spray at 212ish degrees and if I go to 150qft that lowers to 175ish degrees. Does any one know what temperature a typical engine bay would be on a single engine?
