Exhaust water flow isn’t equal 🤷♂️

https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...0a916ce7a.jpeg Not new to boating, but new to wet exhaust. This is a new to me boat. Brand new pumps that were rebuilt because there was water mixed with the oil and it was leaking from the weep hole. Both pumps completely gone through. Just from an uneducated observation, it appears the exhaust has a decent amount of water equal on both port and starboard engines. But as you can see, the port engine, has just a trickle coming out of one of the two holes, whereas the starboard engine has a very steady flow of water. biggest problem is I don’t know what it looked like before the pumps were rebuilt. Are the two holes in the middle for pressure relief after the wet exhaust is satisfied? Someone educate me please and thank you. EDIT- same flow in the lake |
if you are running on a hose you will never have enough volume to know what is happening. those pumps move ALOT of water and a hose is not enough so water goes to the path of least resistance

where are the two center outlets plumbed to? it may be from the days of the ProChargers so need to establish how all this is plumbed. water takes the least resistance so if there is sand or something in the headers restricting flow it may be going out the dumps, or the dumps on the one are more restrictive than the other so it is going out the exhaust.

Are the center dumps designed to cool the outdrive? What’s the proper balance flow balance between the center dumps in exhaust?

generally all the water goes thru the exhaust but this may have dumps because of high water pressure. need to know where they are plumbed to.
