Just a quick question here … will guardian mode limit my rpm ? Because i could reach 4800 rpm but could not even reach 60 mph when the first time i remarked the alarm … will it cut on overall performance or just limit rpm

It will limit rpm's at different levels depending on the issue.

If it's going to 4800rpms, it doesn't sound like it is guardian mode.

Ok guys i just tought of something ( i am an overthinker ) lol … so this winter i brought my prop to a guy because i notched it in the rock last summer really small notch … brought it back nice but wanted to be sure thats it was well balanced and brought it to an oldschool dude who redo props … he showed me a picture on the mold of a true 24 and mine seemed to be warped so he redid it … so here i am 200/300 rpm less with like at least 5 mph loss … i have read that 24 bravo one props are actully 1" less than was it os stamped … so maybe i payed 250$ to loose performance … nothing to do with my alarm but maybe i am not on guardian mode and juste have two issues to fix here …

When you scan it, check the sea pump pressure, I had a similar issue cause my sea pump pressure was too high, which is usually a blockage. I also have the Hardin pumps and change impellers every other year. Ended up being the end cap gaskets in the heat exchanger

Ok so your talking a posssible clogged up water system … what was it with the end caps ? And i read that these cannot be taken off if boat in water ?

I did it on the trailer, it's amazing what happens to them overtime, almost gummy

Ok guy here is the update … finally plugged the scan on that 496 HO … see the picture for codes that came out … and i could also soo that o have 100% power availability … in conclusion my prop will be replaced with a mirage plus 3 blade 23 pitch…

Seapump Ckt Hi is the only fault on your screen that will throw a 2 beep alarm. The other faults are sensors not used on your application.

496 will idle like a kitten and run smooth on 7 cylinders. Check for spark at the plug with a spark tester. Coils go bad and spark arcs to valve cover. Won't show up in a scan... good luck 👍
