LOL! I guess this is what i get for reaming the **** outta of it all summer :D :D

Broken spring damper and the teflon valve seal was chewed up and in the oil pan

I thought I got away from breaking things if I bought the good stuff which i did..

I see that the marine world is alot harder on parts.. The next mighty mouse will be ready for the marine world ;)

Glad to see its not just us solid lifter guys tearing up valve train parts!!:D In solid roller land if a spring or damper break it is necessary to change out all of the springs and lifters. I told a car buddy that after he broke a spring and he decided to just replace the springs and live with the lifters for a few more races. Oh yea he lost a lifter, and took out the cam. He is actually pretty lucky that everything else looks pretty good. What the heck, you are going with a new motor next year so lets call it getting your moneys worth.

LOL! hell i got my moneys worth outta this motor :D :D she did everything I expected and little more powerful then i thought

I wasn't to impressed, crane said this spring had all the new technology and was alot stronger then previous spring setups.. I hope they didn't make to many designs after this one LOL! I'll send this damper back to them in a envelope and tell them it doesn't stand up in the big boys marine world ;)

Trav, make sure you did not restrict the oil flow to the top end. Springs/dampers rely on the oil to keep the spring temps down.

crazy... That was the only damper that broke. For some reason I don't know. I think it was just a fluke with that damper. But i see your point bro.. I realize oil keeps the springs and dampers running cooler... Like I said before around 98 hrs of reaming the **** outta of it.. i couldn't ask for more :D
