Not all oils resist shearing and viscosity reduction the same.
Add in fuel dilution potential over time for visc reduction, and your 10w30 ends up pretty thin at 220f. I would run at least a 10w40 with your oil @ 220f. Whatever you do, get some samples tested after some time in to determine how it's making out. |
