Mercruiser cool fuel pumps
Has anyone had good luck with the aftermarket mercruiser fuel pumps for the cool fuel? I have both the low and high pressure. It looks like the oem pumps are exactly the same with a lot lower of the price. I'm assuming mercruiser just puts their level on them and charges a lot more. Fuel pump factory has them for a good price

I find it extremely suspect that they have both the high and low pressure pumps for exactly the same price... and like what, 1/8th the price of a Mercruiser model? IF they are high quality and work well, then this is certainly an option to explore, if nothing else to have one on board in case of an emergency.

Some parts I'm willing to try aftermarket. Fuel Pump... nahh.
In my other hobby, aftermarket fuel pumps for sea-doo would fry the computer. so what was a fuel pump replacement, turns into a OEM fuel pump PLUS computer. |

That's the issue I'm finding. I don't need all the accessories that come with it

ive cut them both open they seem to be the same guts inside sometimes the cheap ones work better high pressure seems to kill them if the regulator gets plugged
