CMI E-Tops, Standard Bravo tailpipes with aftermarket heads

Anyone have any experience with CMI E-Tops on a BBC using AFR heads with 3/8" raised exhaust ports, will standard Bravo location tailpipes with the flex-flare connections line up close enough with the transom tips or will I need special custom made tails

Can’t say for a Bravo but on my TRS setup they fit but were pushing it. Silicone “hump” hoses should give you some leeway.

In my case...no it did not work. My tails aren't "standard" bravo however...I ended up removing the tips, filling the holes in the transom, and recutting them 3/4" higher. I have had the boot between the tail and tip fail due to misalignment when I bought the boat and that's not something I want to experience again. Just an FYI...not only do they go up with the raised exhaust ports but they also go out a little due to the angle at the header flange to the head...just something to keep in mind. More work but if it were mine...I'd move the tips.
