Alpha repair time

Question for you guys that do this for a living. What is a fair time to charge to change gimbal bearing, all the boots and bellows, and impeller? I know it will take me longer than it should but want to be fair to the guy.Alpha 1 gen 2 Thanks

Completely depends on how easy it comes apart. Charge by the hour, but charge a good percentage less than whatever your local marina does to be fair. Around $1k would be a decent estimate

Looks like parts are about $500 (quicksilver) I guessed about 7-8 hrs shop time. Thanks for your input.

If it comes apart I can’t see it being more than a few hours. I’ve done my Bravos a NUMBER of times.

I'm not a guy that beats up or questions shop times, but I would definitely think it’s a few hours max.

Make sure you use OEM - got screwed on that before and had to pull mine back off when shift cable boots tore.
