Mercruiser unavailable hose

I knew this would come up one day. Looking for a Mercruiser oem hose 32-816285. Outlet of seawater pump to inlet of oil / power steering cooler at back of engine. Does anyone has any of these laying around.. Alternative, make one with a wired shields hose.Trying to find a oem molded hose instead. Pic attached

What size hose is it ? I would go to a local auto parts store and see if they will let you look through their hose inventory. You might be able to find something close enough to work. I dont know if Gates or Goodyear have an online catalog that shows all of their hoses. Might want to look for that also.

FWIW, I just bought a hose for the same routing, sea pump to trans cooler, on my 350 MPI, so it is possible that might work for you as well. The part number was 32-8080441.

If you want, I can send you the old hose for just the cost of shipping, to see if that will work for your application.

That's not a good part number - I know it doesn't make sense but Mercury does not put the actual number on the part.

See https://www.mercruiserparts.com/why-...ed-or-received

Do you have the engine serial number?

To find 32-816285 specifically "used" then it appears you'd be asking for someone that happens to still have parts that fit on a 502 MAG. BRAVO GM 502 V-8 1990-1992 - 0C878221 THRU 0D824588 as that is where that hose fits as to Where Used is listed.

While chances seem low that you're going to find that hose specifically, the following few places that might help get a visual of something that might work out instead are linked below to browse should the 2 places recommended above not work out in your favor...

Hoses : ebasicpower.com, Marine Engine Parts | Fishing Tackle | Basic Power Industries plus check out theirMolded Hoses for Mercruiser , Hose Molded for Mercruiser 7.4L 454 Bravo Raw Water Pump to Oil Cooler 32-18159-1 [MER32-18159-1] - $49.95 : ebasicpower.com, Marine Engine Parts | Fishing Tackle | Basic Power Industries

Mercruiser Cooling Hoses | Wholesale Marine

West Marine Storefront Catalog | West Marine

Pretty sure that's the same hose I mentioned to you that you can have for the cost of shipping for test fitting, if you want it. I'm removing it this weekend due to a slow drip at one end clamp.

Okay, I'm trying to understand. You have a drip on your hose and you apparently must have bought a new one, so now you're willing to send me the old hose per shipping cost only for a test..?

You can keep it - it's to test fit before you spend money on a new one. Cover shipping and it's yours. Or I can just toss it, I don't care much. Just trying to be helpful.
