What brand of fuel pump is this?

Im trying to identiofy what brand of mechanical fuel pump I have. Its on a 1980 Twin Turbo Scarab that has twin turbos. The pump has 3/8 npt inlet and outlet\s on opposite sides. the check valve body has long screws that bolt it together into the upper housing. It looks similar to a Baker, but I dont think it is.

Hard to say but that's the typical look of many 6 valve mech pumps from the past. Not many are made today unfortunately. Pro-Cam and ?

I run that pump on my 454's. Think mine were made by Holley. If I remember correctly, Clay Smith Cams made the orig ones then sold the rights to Holley. Not sure what happened after that. I've seen them sold under a few different names.

Sent my pumps to Clay Smith and they rebuilt them years ago. They replaced the diaphram and upgraded spring to 15 psi. Using an adjustable Aeromotive regulator to drop press down to 7.25 psi. They have been good pumps. Don't know if they still support them. Probably worth a call if your looking to rebuild them.

I think those are the same ones I have. I remember it was hard finding one that was inlet outlet opposite sides and about 1” gap.

I can try to look or take pictures if you want.

Speaking of mechanical pumps. What is the preferred choice for BBC fuel pump for carbureted engines? Replaced a couple pumps for a friend on Friday, we took the boat out yesterday and ran about 50 miles in it. I mile from his dock, the stb motor stalls out. Got back to the dock and started looking everything over and the carb was bone dry on the stalled motor. Looked down and the brand new Carter pump, was trashed. The retaining pin that holds the pump arm was sticking out the side and when I pulled the pump, the arm and spring fell off!!! WTF!!?? Hole where the pin goes was all messed up and probably worn out to 50% bigger.

Found some pics of mine. These were definitely made by Holley.

Edit: BTW, I noticed teflon tape on one of your fuel fittings. I was told that's a no-no. Should use liquid thread sealer instead on tapered pipe threads involved with fuel and oil. Tiny shards (almost invisible) of teflon tape got into my fuel pump check valves and caused low fuel press issues. Prev owner had been pulling his hair out trying to address that.

sutphen 30 and zz28zz were correct, it is a 6 port pump, but it doesnt have any casting name in it like Holley. It just says made in USA on the bottom. I was having a issue with it on a 20 minute cruise my fuel pressure would start out at 7 psi and then it would eventually drop to 5 psi. This was with a new fuel water seperator but I also found out that the fuel tank pickup is a nylon 3/8 tube going to a 1/4 npt outlet. On the bottom there is a screen and its possible that it could have been partially plugged but when I pulled it out the whole screen was clear.
My current plan it to have a new 2tainelss pickup tube made with the bottom cut at a angle and have the tube welded to a 3/8 npt to -8 straight fitting.
The next thing is to find out how to have the fuel pump rebuilt if posszz28zz , you said that clay smith rebuilt your, how lonmg ago was that?

Chris Straub has the parts and can also rebuild the pump if you need.
